电子直线加速器的加速管是一种盘荷波导,要求制造的精确度极高,尺寸公差一般要求在0.005—0.01毫米,因此需要解决一系列的精密加工、测量和装配问题。本文总结了我们试制这种加速管所使用的工艺方法和装备。参考了美国斯坦福大学1955年发表的用压合法制造盘荷波导的经验,结合我们的情况设计了整套的工艺装备,作了若干改进,并试验成功了能精确装配任意片间尺寸的装配方法;它对制造尺寸变化的盘荷波导特别有用。经过微波测试,制成的加速管质量良好,在频率均匀度上较优于同类型的美国斯坦福大学Mark Ⅱ电子直线加速器的加速管,?值则接近后者的水平,聚束管和加速系统总装后的质量尚待作进一步的鉴定。
The accelerator of an electron linear accelerator is a waveguide with a plate load. The manufacturing precision is very high. The dimensional tolerance is generally required to be 0.005-0.01 mm. Therefore, a series of precision machining, measurement and assembly problems need to be solved. This article summarizes the process and equipment we use to prototype this type of accelerating tube.
