The effects of different doses of UV irradiation for 12 weeks on the DNA synthesis of mouse skin basal cells were observed. The results showed that when the UV dose was more than 1/2 the minimum erythema dose (MED) The study of the time-effect relationship of ultraviolet irradiation showed that the DNA synthesis outside the program continued to increase with UV irradiation greater than 1 / 2MED, while there was no significant change in the 1 / 8MED group. It is suggested that continued exposure to ultraviolet light at a dose greater than 1 / 2MED may damage the cells of the organism.
