This paper discusses the relationship between intercultural communication and English teaching in higher vocational colleges, elaborates the influence of cultural differences between China and the West on the cultivation of intercultural communication competence, and deeply studies the ways and methods of cultivating students’ intercultural communication competence in English teaching of higher vocational education.
