整理一部古籍,如何正确评价它在流传过程中产生的各种版本,这对于底本的选用及校勘至关重要.也是在古籍整理工作中经常遇到的问题.最近重读了上海古籍出版社1982年版《徐霞客游记》及云南人民出版社1985年版《徐霞客游记校注》(上海古籍出版社1987年、云南人民出版社1994年皆重版了《游记》,与初版相较,除个别字句有改动外.基本保持了原本的格局,故本文仍采用初版,如引用重版,则随文注明).尽管前者重在“游记”的整理,后者重在“游记”的校注,但两相比较,在勘误方面,读后颇受启迪,拟就此文,谈一点体会.
