抗日战争期间,华侨庄惠泉与胞弟庄朝松同心协力,携手并肩,英勇抗日,被新马群众称为抗日英雄。庄惠泉在清光绪二十六年(1900年)出生于厦门,祖籍安溪县龙门镇,1937年任新加坡安溪会馆总务主任。抗日战争爆发后,庄惠泉与林谋盛等人一起,积极参加抗日救亡活动。发动认购抗日公债,筹赈祖国难民;发动抵制日货,支持处罚销售日货的奸商。1938年陈嘉庚发起成立“南洋华侨筹赈祖国难民总
During the War of Resistance Against Japan, the overseas Chinese Zhuang Huiquan and his brother Zhuang Chaosong work hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder heroic resistance to Japan, the New Malaysian people called the anti-Japanese hero. Zhuang Huiquan was born in Xiamen in the twenty-sixth year of the Guangxu reign (1900) and was an ancestral home of Longmen Town, Anxi County. In 1937, he was appointed General Director of the Anxi Hall of Singapore. After the war of resistance against Japan broke out, Zhuang Huichuan and Lin Mousheng and others together actively participated in the anti-Japanese national salvation activities.
