In 1990, sediment traps were used to sample the ocean vertical fluxes of particulate matter and trace metals (Cu, Pb, Zn, Cr, Fe, Mn and Al) in the northern East China Sea (32.00 ° N, 126.00 ° E). The results show that the deposition flux of particulate matter varies with depth and season, and is obviously affected by updraft. The deposited particulate matter is mainly composed of small particles of 0.45-63μm. Cu and Zn are mainly vertically transferred in the form of organic matter. Pb, Cr, Fe and Mn are mainly vertically transferred by weak bonds, and Al is in the form of silicate For vertical transfer. Among the sediments, the particles Cu, Fe, Mn and Al are mainly composed of 0.45-63μm particles; the particles Pb and Cr are mainly composed of particles larger than 63μm; the proportion of Zn particles 0.45-63μm and larger than 63μm are close to each other in sediments .
