已有很多实验研究证实，应用从鼠颌下腺提取的神经生长因子能够预防鼠脑隔-海马通路横切后造成的神经元死亡。本文研究了从人胎盘中提取的神经生长因子预防鼠脑隔-海马通路横切后造成神经元死亡的作用，发现人神经生长因子也能够预防神经元死亡。
Numerous experimental studies have demonstrated that the use of nerve growth factor extracted from rat submandibular glands can prevent neuronal death following transcortical-hippocampal transection in the rat brain. This study investigated the effect of nerve growth factor extracted from human placenta on preventing neuronal death after traumatic brain-septum-hippocampal cross-cutting and found that human nerve growth factor can also prevent neuronal death.
