21世纪的青少年大多是独生子女,从小娇生惯养,被父母视为掌上明珠。当他们在生活中遇到困难挫折时,要么选择放弃,要么消极应对。就像白鲸中的亚哈一样,当被一条凶猛的白鲸咬断一条腿后,失去理性甚至疯狂到失去自我采取极端措施来解决问题-复仇。他相信人一定能征服自然来达到他的目标。而作者通过幸存者以实玛丽对自然的描述来表达自己对自然的态度,他把白鲸仅仅看作可爱的动物,他认为人与自然之间能和谐相处。两个截然不同的态度形成鲜明的对比。从而得出结论:当人们遇到挫折后,不同的心态,结果也必然不同。所以有一个好的心态极其重要,换个角度就会看到不一样的天空。
Most young people in the 21st century are only children, spoiled from childhood, and regarded by parents as a pearl of the heavens. When they encounter difficulties and setbacks in life, they either choose to give up or respond negatively. Just like Ahab in Moby Dick, when a leg is beaten by a ferocious beluga whale, it becomes irrational or even crazy to lose oneself and take extreme measures to solve the problem - revenge. He believes that man must be able to conquer nature to achieve his goal. The author expresses his attitude toward nature through survivors’ real description of nature. He regards beluga only as a cute animal, and believes that man and nature can live in harmony. Two sharply different attitudes contrast sharply. Thus concluded: When people encounter setbacks, the different mentality, the result is bound to be different. So having a good attitude is extremely important, from a different angle will see a different sky.
