在农村,平房经历无数次变迁,茅草房、土坯房、砖瓦房,近些年虽是满目两三层小楼,不过比起城里的高楼大厦,我仍视为平房小宅。平宅简陋,还显现在围墙和头门上。土坯墙,土打垒,再早时的篱笆墙,后来虽然有了砖砌围墙,可这只是作为农家小院之间的界限;独板铁皮门,木板双扇门,最简陋的木棍栅栏门,即使后来变换成雕刻着飞龙走兽的高宽气派门庭,也只是作为出入的通道。
