Telefunken Systems Technology Germany successfully tested a passive microwave sensor. The current sensor has evolved into the Passat ground-air reconnaissance system. Due to the partial funding provided by the German Ministry of Defense, an initial test was conducted in 1989. Tests include: capturing 50 km of aircraft; in order to detect and track the German private aircraft and other types of aircraft information display, analysis by the navigation system, fire control system, reconnaissance radar, jamming transmitters, cruise missile sensors and active heat Seeker output produces about RF radiation.
