茶圣陆羽身世坎坷,历代茶文化著述多将他记为弃婴,也有说他是孤儿的。那么,他究竟是孤儿还是弃婴呢?笔者以为这是一个值得探讨的问题,而结合《陆羽自传》(又称《陆文学自传》)以及《茶经·六之饮》“远祖纳”的表述,陆羽应该是孤儿而非弃婴:孤儿与弃婴的差别是,孤儿为父母早逝,有亲戚和族人,知道自己姓氏;弃婴则是被父母遗弃,不知道自己姓氏。
