“本剧并非虚构。”无锡市越剧团的大型无场次现代剧《弥留》一开幕,字幕上就这样写明。那些暴露性的、批评性的作品往往一开头声明“纯系虚构”,因为其中写了不良的人和事,免得有人自动“对号入座”,带来麻烦。而《弥留》作此声明,是为了要人相信,它演的确实是生活中实有的感人肺腑的优秀人物的动人事迹。即便这样,在北京演出时,仍有观众在议论:“哪有这么好的人?!”虽然字幕上作了声明,他依然不信。不是这位观众对生活太消极,就是生活中的消极对这位观众“刺激”太深了。但是从他的心态来看,他对剧中“这么好的人”本身还是肯定和佩服的。
