当报紙上公布了伟大的共产主义战士——王杰同志的日記和英雄事迹后,正在我省广大农村和山区辛勤工作的农村巡回医疗队的医务人員,深深受到王杰同志为革命一不怕苦、二不怕死的革命精神的感染和鼓舞。各医疗队开展了向王杰同志学习的活动。队員們以王杰同志为榜样,一心为革命、一心为农民,在开展巡回医疗中的各項农村卫生工作方面,正出現着越来越多的动人事迹。向王杰同志学习,首先要学习他为革命一不怕苦、二不怕死的伟大革命精神。許多医疗队的同志們正是在这种精神鼓舞下,不顾山高路远,不畏艰难險阻,爬山涉水,頂风冒雨,坚持走村串戶,送医送药上門。武宁县伊山、澧溪、宋溪等公社多是大山区,全社纵横百十里,山巒起伏,地广人稀,居住分散,有的一个山村只住着一两戶人家。在这些公社巡回的省医疗队員就是在这样艰苦的环境里,以不怕苦的毅力,踏看羊腸小道,突破高山的阻隔,坚持把医药送給山区人民。如在伊山公社的医疗队队員,为了方便
