锦西大红杏,又名麻银核子、大红核子、红杏核子、红核子,是锦西红杏类适于加工的优良品种之一。本品种在我县已有80余年的栽培历史,主要分布于虹螺山附近。栽培面积为257亩,有结果树3945株,年产量在32万至40万斤。果实鲜食可口,加工罐头更久负盛名,该品种在1981、1983年省杏鉴评会上均获好评而名列前茅。
