生物识别技术具有极其广阔的应用前景,巨大的社会效益和经济效益,已引起国际学术界、企业界、政府以及国防军事部门的高度重视。中国国家高技术开发研究发展计划、国家自然发展基金委员会都将生物识别技术作为一个重要的支持方向,并部署了相关的研究项目。有关专家呼吁,作为世界人口的第一大国,中国有待建立人口生物特征资源库,以配合国家信息化建设,为此,编译了国内外有关信息,以供读者参考。
Biometrics has a very broad application prospects, great social and economic benefits, has attracted the international academic community, business, government and national defense military attach great importance. China National Hi-Tech Development Research and Development Program and the National Nature Development Fund Committee have all taken biometrics as an important supportive direction and have deployed relevant research projects.
