The hypothalamic luteinizing hormone releasing hormone (LRH) stimulates LH and FSH secretion. An LRR-like substance with an immune response has been detected in urine and has chromatographic properties similar to that of the peptide sequence of the second to tenth of LRH. In order to further understand the changes of LRH produced during growth and sexual maturation, the authors used a specific LRH antiserum to measure the amount of LRH-like substance in the urine of pre-puberty and adolescent urinary extracts 24-hour urinary gonadotropin levels, and analyzed the relationship between these data and age and bone age. Subjects included 24 pre-puberty boys (4-13.9 years), 12 pubertal boys (11-18 years), 19 pre-puberty girls (0.25-12 years) and 13 puberty Girls (8 to 18 years old) of the hypothalamus - pituitary gland function normal,
