在“计算移动和变形的经验分析方法”一文(苏联高教通讯采矿杂志1972年第11期第56~59页)中,曾提出了在接近充分采动条件下开采缓倾斜煤层时,计算地表移动与变形的经验分析法。倾斜及急倾斜煤层条件下,以地表最大下沉点(或者是移动盆地平底边缘)作为计算坐标的原点是适宜的。当移动过程比较平稳时,可以用下面形式的高斯积分函数作为下沉曲线方程:
