Barrett食管是指食管中下段粘膜呈特殊的柱状上皮,由Barrett于1950年首先报告。1963年Adler发现Barrett食管常伴有裂孔疝、溃疡、狭窄和肿瘤。1978年Messian等也强调它经常发生食管病变。但Barrett食管和慢性十二指肠溃疡的联系却很少被提到。本文报道5例,男性3例,女性2例,年龄为38～71岁。5例均作了上消化道X线和内窥镜检查,包括粘膜活检和细胞学检查,临床症状以烧心、反胃和上腹部疼痛为最常见,其次为胸骨后疼痛、吞咽疼痛和呕血、黑便。
