文章通过统计美国既定的战争区域,计算了美国在冷战时期、冷战结束后选择的战争区域和美国经济的关联度,比较分析了美国在冷战时期、冷战结束后规律性取向差异的原因,提炼出了美国选择战争区域的规律性经济取向,即冷战时期的美国在选择战争区域时,关注战争区域的军事力量甚过于经济力量,而在冷战结束后,关注于经济力量甚过于军事力量,美国和战争对象的经济强相关度是选择战争区域的规律性经济取向。
