桧柏为柏科圆柏属常绿乔木,树冠塔形或圆锥形,其树型优美,萌蘖力强、吸收SO_2等有害气体能力较强.桧柏适于城市绿化和工矿区单株布景,也适于城市街道作绿篱栽培.本人从1993年开始培育桧柏,经过三年的摸索,终于成功地育出了桧柏幼苗.现在第二批幼苗已经生长两年,90%以上苗高在20厘米左右,个别的苗高达35厘米.从我三年桧柏育苗的实践看,主要有以下几点
