北京第一轧钢厂三车间以生产φ6.5mm线材为主,精轧机共八架呈复二重式排列。其中后五架轴瓦采用滚动轴承传动,由于轴承和辊颈之间是滑动配合,因而铸铁辊辊颈磨损严重。多年来,修复辊颈一直采用手工电弧焊进行焊补其磨损部分。被焊部分熔池很深,基体的冲淡率大,电焊后表面也凸凹不平,车加工很困难。加之电焊后又不进行焊后退火处理,因而焊接应力大,易引起断
