数十年来的研究表明:海洋和大气的相互作用在长期天气预报过程中越来越显示出它的生命力。 海气相互作用,究竟海温是主流?还是大气对海温的反馈作用是主流?或者两者经常处与相互作用之中?至今还是一个有争议的问题。但是,大气从热带海洋获得热量,这已是公认的事实。 近年来,国外很多学者在研究瓦克环流,那末,何谓瓦克环流呢?瓦克环流与南方浮动有密切的关系,这已成为研究海气相互作用的很多学者所证实。南方涛动(SouthernOsillation,简称SO)主要是指南太平洋的气压和印度洋的气压是相反变化的关系。对此,不同的学者在太平洋和印底洋上分别取不同地点的气压,用它们间的气压差来表示SO。如:有所用复活节岛的气压减达尔文的气压,也有的用达尔文的气压与塔希提岛气压的加权平均来表示SO;在分析较长时期南方涛动的时候,更多使用的则是用代表南太平洋的圣地
Decades of research have shown that the ocean-atmosphere interaction shows more and more its vitality in the long-term weather forecasting process. It is still a controversial issue whether the sea surface temperature is the mainstream or whether the atmosphere feedbacks to the sea surface temperature is the mainstream or the two are often interacted with each other. However, it is generally accepted that the atmosphere receives heat from the tropical oceans. In recent years, many scholars abroad are studying the Wacker circulation, so what is the Wacker circulation?
