我省现有残次林面积据调查约有2400万亩,占森林总面积的四分之一强,超过建国以来人工林保存面积总和。这些林分,虽然目前生产力很低,但是一般生境条件较好,生产潜力大,若采取适当的措施,加以抚育改造,则是培养后备森林资源多快好省的途径。但是,这项工作还没有引起足够的重视,是一个突出的薄弱环节,为此,根据所掌握的情况和有关资料,提出这个问题,以求商讨。
According to the survey, there are about 24 million mu of existing defective forest area in our province, accounting for more than a quarter of the total forest area and more than the total area conserved in the plantation since the founding of the People’s Republic. Although these stands are low in productivity at present, their general habitat conditions are good and their productive potential is high. If proper measures are taken and they are raised and rebuilt, they will be the means of cultivating more and more efficient forest reserve resources. However, this work has yet to receive sufficient attention. It is a prominent weak link. Therefore, this issue should be raised on the basis of the information available and the situation in hand for discussion.
