1990年初,我对解放前夕新疆编修的兵要地志,作了一些整理及编纂工作,感觉到这是一部罕见地方史料,对编史修志,会提供重要帮助。 至1949年止,纪述新疆史志的最后一部巨著当为张大军所著的《新疆风暴七十年》。这部书共有六十章,我所见到的是五十一章本,精装12册,直接利用新疆档案、资料,终止于1947年9月。所谓新疆风暴七十年,其实从1911年算起至1947年止,不过36年而已。奇巧的是新疆解放前最后一批兵要地志的编写,正好于1947年前后运笔开张,
In the beginning of 1990, I made some compilation and compilation of the soldier to-be-edited edict in Xinjiang on the eve of the liberation, and felt that this was a rare local historical material that would provide important help in compiling and editing Chi.
