视觉是从儿童出生后开始发展的,0～3岁是视觉发展的关键期。儿童刚出生时,虽然对光线有反应,但视力很差。一般而言,儿童出生后3个月,眼睛才能够追着眼前移动的物体看。4个月左右,才能够看出色彩,此时,他们偏爱注视较复杂的图形、线条以及鲜明的对比色。儿童3岁前,视觉发展尚未成熟,虽然他们能够大体区分图形、颜色甚至一些文字,但他们的中心视力还无法完全清晰成像,视觉清晰度远远不如成人。所以,此时给他们看的东西最好较大且颜色鲜明。
