绍兴县位于浙江中北部,属典型的江南水乡。改革开放以来,绍兴县经济特别是乡镇经济获得了迅猛发展,综合实力明显增强,1991年就跻身于全国农村经济综合实力百强县的行列,并连续16年经济总量保持全省第一。在经济持续快速增长的同时,绍兴县也十分重视环境保护。近几年,他们把市场机制引入环保产业,不仅河水变清,环境改善,2000年这个县被命名为全国第一批生态示范县,而且还为我们提供了污水治理产业化的新鲜经验。
Shaoxing County is located in central and northern Zhejiang Province, is a typical southern Yangtze River. Since the reform and opening up, the economy of Shaoxing County, especially that of townships and towns, has witnessed rapid growth with a marked increase in overall strength. In 1991, it ranked among the top 100 counties in the overall rural economy strength in the country and maintained the top economy in the country for 16 consecutive years. While sustained and rapid economic growth, Shaoxing County attaches great importance to environmental protection. In recent years, they have introduced the market mechanism into the environmental protection industry. Not only has the water become clear and the environment has been improved, in 2000 the county was named the first batch of ecological demonstration counties in the country, but it also provided us with fresh experiences in the industrialization of sewage treatment.
