原以为新年的《档案工作》一定有新的面貌、新的气象。然而,当我看到姗姗来迟的第1期杂志时,这份感觉——套一句时髦而又俗气的话——我好失望好失望呵。就《档案工作》在全国林林总总的档案专业期刊中的地位而言,我们素来对她是另眼相待的,因此,也就免不了在失望之余要说三道四,以表关心。《档案工作》是国家档案局的机关刊物,又是全国最早,也是少有的一份月刊。月刊而雄踞京城,眼观六路、耳听八方,向全国的读者通通信息,起起舆论引导作用,自是得天独厚。这恐怕也是众多读者对她的期望。从目前已读到的1992年1、2两期杂志看,这方面似不如人意。如每期的“本期要闻”栏虽在这两期中占不少篇幅,但其中不足处也实在使人不吐不快,在此略陈一二,以求教编辑方家。
