He Kau-yi, a physicist of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, pointed out that our news media have overheated the “information superhighway” “speculation” and should cool down, which is too far from our national conditions. The physicist believes that since the United States President Bill Clinton proposed to build the “information superhighway” in the United States, all the developed countries have responded one after another.
