  The long term records of hydrological observation, being a prerequisite to the design of any water resource project are mostly found to be inadequate or non-available. The current paper is an attempt to apply the physically based, spatially distributed SWAT (Soil Water Assessment Tool) model for estimating hydrologic budget for remote locations from an ungauged perspective and prediction of response with an acceptable uncertainty measure.
