Recently,terrodsms have come up to be an international problem,such as virus in a post letter,detonation of liquid explosives,sheltering illegal drugs,and so on.Therefore,it is clear that the security screening of envelop and luggage is required.In general,most of chemical compounds show a strong,high frequency-dependent absorption and dispersion in THz wave range.But,the drugs and explosives are sometimes hided in the containers which are made of the glass material,so the transmission characteristics of such glass material in THz region have to be studied firstly.In this paper,the THz-TDS spectra of several glass materials used to make containers in our daily life,such as beverage bottles,cosmetic flask,and medicine bottles,have been measured and analyzed.
