Affordance will bring direct role for design,such as design and the interaction between people,to realize that includes a users unconscious behavior,such as building environment on the traction force produced by the people,because people will use the subconscious mind to pick up various Affordanee of lies within the built environment,rather than just at the beginning of the design requirements set by the function.Since China entered an aging society,society is facing an ageing population of rapid development and living environment change brings many contradictions,based on the Gibson Affordance theory as the breakthrough point.According to the research in Niigata,Japan,the elderly living in the research of the state of real experience,the space environment of the old building availability analysis,and then discusses the elderly living space form features and perceptual behavior interactions.It can be drawn lessons from the old building design and construction put forward proposal to improve the life quality for old people.Firstly,design is not creating shape but create relationship.Objects and environment associated with items are in the most natural state when the elderly is unconscious,and the elderly use an item is not aware of its function or how people use it in the unconscious state,the elderly will adjust their body to know the items.Secondly,affordance concerned that objects around us,including the built environment,how we see its outline and treat themselves in the "around" among these items.For the elderly,the availability of the existing built environment is likely to lose a part of how the design to make up ground in the study can also do their own research found that some older people make up,making use of the built environment subject to re-produce availability and even play more availability.Thirdly,people have a happy exchange of property and the surrounding environment when the exchange occurs between the elderly and the environment.Elderly obtained from the built environment for all levels of the more obvious,the elderly will feel more comfortable.Excavations have been built environment,including the potential for sexual function space.How to design and conduct research so that more older people to interact with the existing built environment,more fully feel the potential of a variety of architectural space availability,such as the space existing building is no longer a single purpose.Finally,the Gibsons theory as a worldview will be a variety of subtle effects.Such as raising the senses keen and calm perspective view of the environment recognizing the value of the usual,so that not fill the senses with iconic,symbolic and surface type symbolic things.
