　　The computational efficiency for analyzing the behaviour of multi-crack structures is still a challenging issue in fracture mechanics.The stiffness matrix of a super cracked element is first formulated using the spline fictitious boundary element method(SFBEM)based on the Erdogans fundamental solutions corresponding to an infinite plane with a single crack.
