　　The unique characteristics of thermoelectric devices have spearheaded their application in various fields,since they enable a bidirectional conversion between thermal and electric energy.However,their energy conversion efficiency is comparatively low,roughly 5% in conventional commercial modules,so they have been relegated to niche applications.
