树鼩介于食虫目和灵长目之间,其应激系统与人类相似性远高于大鼠与人类的相似性.同时,树鼩是一种独居动物,具有较强的领地意识.因此,利用社会挫败模型在树鼩中创建抑郁症动物模型可能比大鼠的抑郁症模型具有更高的效度.
