T-cell activation is a basic process of immune responses that are associated with surveillance and protective events.Superamolecular activation cluster (SMAC) observed during T-cell activation has provided a platform for the signaling studies.Furthermore, these signalings are found to occur in glycolipid-enriched membrane (GEM) domains that are characterized to be abounding with cholesterol and sphingolipids, these structure were designated as lipid rafts.Such structure gives an unique property of resistance to certain types of detergents.
