Polymers grafted on a surface have been studied for a long time both experimentally and theoretically owning to its importance in variety of industrial and biological applications.When polymers are tethered on the surface of a membrane,they exert significant influence on the membrane's curvature elastic properties,which is described by two rigidity parameters,bending modulus K and Gaussian modulus K.Using strong stretched theory (SST),Milner and Witten[1] derived analytical results about the stiffness effect of membrane induced by neutral polymer brush.
