Objectives Detection of early cancer or pre-cancerous lesions is crucial for outcome of patients with risks of early gastric carcinoma (EGC).Detection rate highly depends on endoscopists experiences and biopsy strategy.Confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE) guided biopsy was showed to be promising in neoplasia screening of Barretts esophagus and ulcerative colitis, however, its application in detection of early EGC was not assessed.This study is to evaluate the effects of probe-based CLE (pCLE) guided biopsy on detection of EGC.
