　　The potential effects of climate change on water resources of the Heihe River basin are assessed by CRCHMS(Coupled Regional Climate and Hydrological Modeling System).The coupled model is applied to the Heihe River basin,the 2nd largest inland river watershed with a drainage area of a 128,000 km2 in Northwest China.
