Glyphosate (N-(Phosphonomethyl)glycine,CAS RN 1071-83-6) is a broad-spectrum,low-toxic,efficient and security herbicide,it’s one kind of sterilant herbicide which has good inner suction and conduction performance,widely used in the field of agricultural production in the world.However,a quantity of inorganic salts and some organic compounds,such as glycine and glyphosate,exists in the wastewater drained from the production of glyphosate.Therefore,how to extract the product of glycine and others from this wastwater will be an urgent subject.Commonly,the methods of chemical oxidation,electrolysis,biochemical,evaporation have been used to treat the wastewater.And adsorption is a kind of potential and effective method for recycling organics and dealing with wastewater.In this paper the wastewater supplied by a factory of production glyphosate which is in Zhejiang province,China was used as the research object,and a technics of suitable for separation recycling glycine (CAS RN 56-40-6,which is used as raw material of preparation glyphosate),was investigated.Moreover,the thermodynamics characteristics of adsorption process of glycine on an adsorbent were studied so as to provide experimental basis for recycling effective components from the waste water of manufacturing glyphosate with an adsorbing materials and reduce the pollution to the environment.The experiments of glycine adsorption on 27 kinds of the materials used as adsorbent were done from the production waste water of glyphosate by static adsorption method.The results show that there is a good effect of glycine adsorption on resin D301.The the results of thermodynamics properties researched show that the isothermal line of glycine is suit to Langmuir equation.The thermodynamic values of ΔHθ,ΔGθ,Δ Sθ obtained provide the basic data for large scale recycling effective components from the waste water of manufacturing glyphosate with resin D301.
