Organic nanowires have attracted a surge of interest owing to their attractive optoelectronic properties and their potential applications in optoelectronic devices.Especially,their exceptional mechanical flexibility makes them ideal candidate in lightweight and flexible devices.In this talk,we presented our recent efforts to the fabrication and optoelectronic properties of ultralong nanowires of metal octaethylporphyrin.In particular,ZnOEP ultralong nanowires were embedded into a polymer matrix via in situ self-assembling process.
