Parkinsons disease(PD)is a common degenerative disease of the nervous system which is characterized by the degeneration and death of dopaminergic neurons as well as significant reduction of dopamine in the substantia nigra.However.the molecular mechanism of these pathologic changes is still unknown.Recently.some researches suggested that dopamine and its oxidative products may play an important role in PD through reacting with nucleophilic residues especially Cys,Lys and His,leading to protein-quinone modifications and abnormal disturbance such as mitochondria dysfunction, protein degradation dysfunction and oxidative stress[1].
