Aim: Lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced pulmonary micocirculatory disturbance (PMD) is the pathological basis in LPS-induced ALI, manifesting as leukocytes adhesion, release of peroxide,and pulmonary microvessel hyperpermeability.Andrographolide pills(R) (AP) is approved for treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infection.The purpose of the present study was to explore the protective effect of AP on LPS-induced PMD and ALI.
