Blue organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) have gained large attention for their potential applications in full-color flat panel displays and solid-state lighting.Herein,a newly blue fluorescent ladder polysilsesquioxane with pyrene side groups was designed and synthesized successfully.The monomer 1,1,3,3-tetraethoxy-1,3-bis(2-(pyren-1-yl)vinyl)disiloxane(PySi-OEt)prepared by Mizoroki–Heck reaction displays special aggregation-induced enhanced emission.Ladder siloxane structures are expected to avoid aggregating of pyrene and improving its physical properties,such as film-forming ability and thermal stability.
