OBJECTIVE: To investigate the role of TGFBR3 in cardiac hypertrophy and its pathophysiological significance based on the first time that TGFBR3 was found to be highly expressed in cardiomyocytes. Methods: Molecular biology and other experimental techniques were used to detect the changes of TGFBR3 expression in vitro induced by ISO. Ultrasound and HE staining were used to detect cardiac hypertrophy phenotypes in cardiac-specific overexpression TGFBR3 transgenic mice and to explore the effect of TGFBR3 on cardiac hypertrophy
