Purpose: Nanoscopic therapeutic systems that incorporate therapeutic agents,molecular targeting,and diagnostic imaging capabilities are designed and prepared as the new generation of multifunctional nanomedicine to improve the therapeutic outcome of oral squamous cell carcinoma.Methods: Firstly,the hydrophilic anticancer drug clofarabine was functionalized with hydrophobic alkyl chains to form amphiphilic structure,which could further self-assemble into nanoparticles in water.Then,through the molecular recognition of nucleobases,incorporating the targeting unit aptamer AS1411 and fluorescent groups into the nanoparticles was realized by intermixing of different building blocks.Finally,the in vitro antitumor experiments were evaluated by MTT assay,flow cytometer and confocal.
