High temperature CO2/H2O co-electrolysis in solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs) was identified as one of the most promising, feasible routes to convert CO2 and H2O to the fuel [1].A small amount of CH4 can be detected in the product of CO2/H2O co-electrolysis at below 650℃,and can be significantly promoted by electricity and effectively suppressed by impregnating the anti-carbon deposition catalyst Ru in Ni-YSZ cathode.
