Retrospective Analyses of Unintentional Injury of Pre-hospital Aid in Beijing during 1992~2008

  Objective: To get a knowledge of the characteristics of the Pre-hospital Out-Call every two years in Beijing Emergency Medical Centre during 1992~2008.Methods: with retrospective Case-Control study.After inspecting cases of the five first-aid stations of Beijing Emergency Medical Centre during 1992-2008 every two years, the ratio of the cases with suicide attempt was gained.Results: 1.during the year of 1992 to 2008, the ratio of suicide attempt Pre-hospital Out-Call was similar between male and female years (table 1).2.The great social activities in Beijing had an important impact on the Pre-hospital Out-Call of suicide attempt, such as the Olympic Games of Beijing in 2008, the suicide attempt Pre-Hospital Out-Call was low because of the decrease of fluent population.Conclusion: the characteristics of the suicide attempt Pre-hospital Out-Call during 1992~2008 have different laws in different stages of social development.
