　　Elevated level of corticosterone is commonly observed in diabetes.Pathological roles of such hormone include promoting peripheral insulin resistance,increasing hepatic gluconeogenesis,and suppressing beta-cell viability and function.Therefore,attenuating the deleterious effects of such hormone is beneficial for diabetes management.
