In this paper,both synthesizing and in-situ coating of 0.4Li2MnO3·0.6LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 with layered cathodes,including LiNixCoyAlzO2 (NCA) and LiNixCoyMnzO2 (NCM),were conducted by coprecipitation.Electrochemical tests indicated that the initial columbic efficiency,cycle stability and capacity retention of the Li-rich cathode can be effectively increased by in-situ coating.
