　　Purpose: To analyze the etiology of unexplained vitreous hemorrhage(VH)and to investigate the surgical effect of vitrectomy on these patients.Methods: The etiological factors and recovery of vision in a total of 70 patients(70 eyes)undergoing vitrectomy for unexplained VH from February 2011 to July 2013 at our hospital were analyzed retrospectively.
